Time and time again, we've been saying that everyone loves to jump on any hype! people really need to stop living in the moment. Jeremy Lin we can't deny has been a productive player who's been able to lift his team to a couple victories. But that's just it; he's just a productive player who was able to show his skills against teams who were either weak at the defensive end, and going up against PG's who are old and too slow. Not to take anything away from his game, but all we've been saying is that he hasn't gone against legitimate teams with great defense and great defensive PG's to prove that he is legit. Our kids can score against teams like a slow Lakers team who by the way have a 37 year old PG, and oh yeah going off against the Nets... which player hasn't done that? None of the teams which he's gone up against had any defensive presence prior to last night. A couple of games in which Lin has been able to show case his limited skills doesn't give him that 'badge' to call him a "real" player. You gotta show us more and be able to put up the same numbers against any team, weak or strong! he's proved that he can go up against slow PG's and weak teams, so can my 3 year old at this point. prove to us that you deserve to be called a "real" player with "game" by putting up the same numbers against the Miami's the Thunder, the Spurs etc... Also we would like to see you actually go up against legitimate defenders and also guard them. Your defense is weak, and you got a lot to prove to the real basketball fans! Next time a player like Kobe is guarding you, don't pass up the ball to free yourself up, show your skills and see if you're for real. If your're passing up the ball for an assist then that's great, but don't pass it up because you want to free yourself up to get away from his or another real defensive presence. TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE! Need we say more.
