Mary J Blige's Burger King commercial gets cut after controversy

The backlash received by Mary J. Blige’s Burger King ad was real—so real, that the fast food franchise yanked it from its YouTube channel (via MTV RapFix).

“Crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, three cheeses, ranch dressing, wrapped up in a tasty flour tortilla," Mary sang to the tune of “Don’t Mind.” The R&B songstress was allegedly paid $2 million for the chicken-glorifying ad which appeared alongside those of David Beckham, Selma Hayek and late night host Jay Leno. READ MORE

Just what this country needs: a Whopper and fries delivered to its front door.

Burger King, in a bid to catch up with McDonalds and take a bite out of the competition posed by fast-food rivals such as Wendys, is experimenting with home delivery. Customers can order online or by phone, and the next thing they know -- ding-dong! -- dinner is at the front door.

Right now, delivery is available only in the Washington, D.C., area and only from a handful of restaurants. But, if successful, the pilot program could see a nationwide rollout.  READ MORE...
